As we get closer to this weekend's un-official start of the summer season, live music will be taking over Downtown Erie once again.

The Erie Downtown Partnership and the EDDC's Flagship City District will be teaming up for a summer filled with 32 live music events.

Every Wednesday through Saturday in the summer, people can enjoy free, local music at the Perry Square Stage, the Flagship City Food Hall, Luminary Distilling and the 429 Alleyway.

Organizers are excited to give new and old artists the chance to perform in Downtown Erie and they hope these events draws more people to downtown after work hours

This also hope the diverse bands and musicians provide entertainment for everyone.

Live music events will begin the first weekend of June.
