PennDOT to Begin Night Work on Peach Street in Summit Township, Erie County

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is preparing to begin nighttime milling and paving work on Route 19 (Peach St.) from Oliver Rd. to Rotunda Drive in Summit Township, Erie County.
Work will start on May 28, weather permitting.
PennDOT said motorists may encounter lane restrictions with traffic controlled by flaggers between the hours of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday nights through Friday mornings.
The night work is part of a $2.6 million resurfacing project that will give motorists a smoother ride on more than a mile of Route 19. According to PennDOT, the project is expected to be completed in September 2024.
Additionally, PennDOT is urging motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions.
More information on the resurfacing project can be found on PennDOT's website.
