Erie News Now was on the first on the scene in Sugar Grove as the Drug Task Force conducted a search of a residence for controlled substances and weapons offenses.

In the City of Warren another search was conducted, which resulted in the arrest of two individuals who have been accused of distributing methamphetamine and fentanyl. During the search, controlled substances were found at the residence.

“K9 Officer Dina was used to search houses for controlled substances and narcotics today,” stated Thomas Kibbey, Warren County Chief Detective.

Following the searches, the Warren County Drug Task Force in collaboration with local law enforcement, Homeland Security, and the PA Attorney General's Office, placed several other individuals into custody on drug related charges.

"No officers or civilians were injured during the searches," Kibbey said. "Everything went smoothly, we had a really good plan set, so no one was injured. We had EMS staged and everything was done properly. We are just working on getting it all cleaned up and concluded, so we can move on to the next case.”
