Leaders of the Harbor Creek School District said they will have counselors available for students and staff after the reported drowning death of a student and his father over the weekend.

A GoFundMe has been set up for Susan Atchley and her family from Harborcreek after her husband and teenage son drowned on Saturday.

According to information on that GoFundMe page, the Atchley family was vacationing at Lake Anna in Virginia when 14-year-old Harborcreek High student Tyler Atchley started to struggle in the water. They say his father, Matt, jumped in to try and save him, but they both lost their lives.

Harbor Creek School Superintendent Kelly Hess says the district is making counselors available to talk with students.
