The A.N.N.A. Shelter had a busy weekend. In less than 12 hours on Saturday, the shelter took in 17 dogs from two different cases.

The first rescue consisted of 10 Chihuahua/Terrier mixes ranging in ages from 10 months to 7 years. The dogs weighed 8-12 lbs.

According to the shelter, the dogs were all scared and sweet but in need of some TLC (tender, loving care).

Later that afternoon, the shelter rescued seven 10 month old Labrador Retrievers were removed from a "breeder".

The shelter said all the new intakes are getting all the medical attention they need.  The animals will be spayed/neutered as soon as they are ready.
