Lights over Lake Erie Fireworks to Light up Bayfront July 3
Fireworks are returning to Erie's bayfront on July 3 to celebrate Independence Day, City of Erie officials announced Thursday.
Lights over Lake Erie is set to start at 10 p.m. and last approximately 15 minutes.
The fireworks will be launched from the Bicentennial Tower at Dobbins Landing and viewable from points along the bayfront.
Pyrotecnico is putting on the display.
The Erie Parking Authority plans to provide free parking in the garages at 7th & Peach, 8th & Peach and 8th & French.
EMTA will also be providing shuttle service to Dobbins Landing from 8 p.m. to midnight for people with disabilities and transportation needs. It will stop on the west and east sides of Perry Square, the Intermodal Transportation Center and the Liberty and Lincoln Park-n-Ride locations.
