Aaron Kramer, the artist behind the Sense of Wonder exhibition, will be returning to Erie this week for a meet & greet session during Gallery Night on June 14.

The exhibit opened to the public on Friday, June 7.

According to the Erie Art Museum, Aaron primarily uses reclaimed materials to build contraptions that are at times one-liners, lessons in mechanics, or interactive stories. Aaron's vision is summed up in his motto, "Trash is the Failure of Imagination."

Gallery Night will take place on Friday, June 10 from 5-10 p.m.

Additionally, the Erie Art Museum is also offering two new summer camps for children ages 7-12.

In the Secret Life of Objects camps, students will learn how to safely use power tools to build sculptures, machines, and inventions with recycled materials. The summer camps will run from July 22-26 and July 29-August 2.

Camp registration can be completed online

Aaron Kramer, local artist Sarah Howard, and the EAM team will lead the camps.

More information on upcoming programs can be found on the Erie Art Museum's website
