Conneaut Police have recovered the body of 10-year-old Hunter. 

Police transported his body to the Cleveland Examinator's office.

Police are asking the community to keep Hunter's family in their thoughts and prayers.

School officials in Conneaut offered up condolences and counseling opportunities after the apparent drowning death of Hunter. 

It happened Friday afternoon, a sixth grader named Hunter went into the water, disappeared and never resurfaced.

Authorities say there were riptide warnings issued at the time the child went under the water. The Conneaut School superintendent called it a devastating and unimaginable loss for the school community.
