Venango County's 1st Ever Pride in the Park Event Set for Saturday at Hasson Park

A volunteer-run LBGTQ+ family-friendly event, Venango Pride in the Park, is being held at Hasson Park in Oil City on Saturday, June 22.
The Pride event will feature free music, food, games/crafts/activities, local vendors, community resources and more.
Event organizers say the goal of the event is to promote a safe, supportive and inclusive space for the queer community and their allies.
Venango Pride in the Park will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Venango Pride in the Park event schedule:
- 11 a.m. - DJ Richard kicks off event, vendor & community tables open
- 12-3 p.m. - Free picnic: hot dogs, sides and drinks
- 12-12:30 p.m. - V's Drag Race
- 12:30-1:30 p.m. - DJ Richard
- 1:30-1:45 p.m. - Limbo contest
- 1:45-2 p.m. - Poets Against Racism & Hate Reading
- 2-2:30 p.m. - Live Music - Act 2: The Random Hubiak
- 2:30-3 p.m. - DJ Richard wraps up event, vendor & Community tables close
Attendees can park for free at the First Presbyterian Church. Shuttles will take attendees to the park every 15 minutes.
