Woman Charged with Arson in East Erie Fire

A woman is behind bars on charges for setting a destructive fire on Erie's east side last week.
It broke out last Thursday in the area of E. 10th and Parade St.
The fire spread to a total of four homes, destroying two of them.
Police said a dispute between squatters led to Colodgia Burns, 29, setting a couch on fire.
No injuries were reported, but it reportedly displaced more than two dozen people including sixteen kids.
Burns is charged with arson and risking a catastrophe.
A judge sent her to jail, setting her bond at $1 million.
