Local Warren Woman Honored at Woofington Dog Park

Woofington Dog Park in Warren, PA hosted a special ceremony to honor a local woman on Sunday June 23rd.
Joanna Ross, a well-known and liked resident of Warren, was a frequent visitor to the park with her dog Grace.
She was remembered fondly after her passing with several donations in her honor, which were used to build a shade pavilion at the park.
Despite the rain, many attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony, including Joanna’s family and her dog.
A blessing was conducted by a local pastor at the event, followed by the heart-felt words of Joanna's family members.
“It was such a big loss and it happened so quickly," stated Jeannie Cole, Joanna's sister. "I knew that she had a lot of people that cared about her, and this gave them an opportunity to come out and show it.”
Joanna’s memory lives on at Woofington Dog Park with the new shade pavilion, a testament to her love for the park and its community.
