The Erie Cancer Wellness Center proudly announced significant improvements in its safety measures that directly impact their community.

The wellness center took their first steps in safety enhancement by providing free CPR, AED and first aid classes, as well as a brand new AED device at the facility.

These classes were offered Tuesday morning by experienced emergency medical responders and CPR instructors.

These courses will be offered quarterly, ensuring that the center's volunteers, facilitators, and participants are well-equipped with essential life-saving skills.

The center will also be installing a brand new security system this summer, with the help from a generous grant provided by the Erie Community Foundation.
