Alycia Ingram's Roller Rink Benefit
Alycia Ingram graduated high school in 2023, she was a member of Union City Area High School's cheer and softball team, but perhaps her biggest passion, roller skating.
"I watched Alycia grow up here, so I knew having it here would also just be a connection to her and her family of something that was important to her," Isabella Long, friend and event co-organizer said. "She made all of her friends, she met a lot of people here, she grew up here with a lot of us."
On June 12th, a two-car accident that tragically took Ingram's life resulted in another person passing away and four others critically injured, including Jayden Holfider
"She [Alycia] was very sweet and just had a gorgeous soul, she was amazing to everyone," Holfider said.
Other than Ingram's passion for cheer, softball and roller skating, she also; "Loved the sunset, that's her favorite thing, every day it was the sunset or sunrise," Holfider said about Ingram.
Holfider has been friends with Ingram for about seven years, growing up with each other since they were 12-years-old.
When Holfider was asked what would be one more thing she would say to Ingram she said, "That I love her, and that we are all going to live for her."
Co-organizer Isabella Long estimates that they raised around $5,000-$6,000.
