It's a big weekend in Erie for fans of all things Italian, especially food.

The annual Italian Festival kicks off Friday afternoon at St. Paul's Catholic Church on Walnut St.

The festival will feature all sorts of Italian foods - from pasta and pizza to cannolis and other sweet treats. Dinners are scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

There will also be live music and games for the kids.

The festivities wrap up with a church service on Sunday morning.
