Basketball players could put their skills to the test and learn some new drills with a clinic on Saturday.

Emina Selimovic hosted a Hoops Skills Development Clinic at McDowell. She is a recent grad from Fairfield University. She is also a graduate of McDowell High School.

There were two sessions, one for grade school students and one for high school students.

They could learn about both basketball and balancing sports and academics in college.
