Democratic Vice Presidential nominee and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is set to make a campaign visit to Erie this week.

He is scheduled for an event on Thursday, Sept. 5, where he is expected to speak about what's at stake in November.

This comes after Republican Vice Presidential nominee J.D. Vance made a visit to Erie Wednesday.

Gov. Walz will arrive at the Erie International Airport on Thursday, after spending Wednesday in Lancaster, Pa.

Walz will be part of a series of campaign engagements events in Erie before delivering remarks at a Harris-Walz rally in Erie. The rally will begin around 6 p.m. on Thursday.

The location of the rally has not been released at this time.
