It was non stop afternoon of visits for Governor Tim Walz and his daughter, Hope, from the moment he landed in Erie on Thursday afternoon.

He began his time in Erie by meeting with supporters and volunteers at one of the campaign field offices on West 8th Street at the Masonic Temple.

Following his time in downtown Erie, Walz made his way to an iconic summer staple, Sara’s.  The Vice Presidential Candidate and his daughter enjoyed a burger, onion rings and a hot fudge milkshake.

He wrapped up his time rallying supporters at Liberty Park. Walz spoke for about 45 minutes about a variety of topics including cutting taxes on the middle-class, lowering prescription drug prices and improving union wages.

He’s now back on the campaign trail.
