The 2024 McDowell Athletic Hall of Fame class has been announced.

This year’s class of inductees includes:

  • Courtney Mercier Chouinard - soccer, class of 2008
  • J.J. Delsandro - basketball, 2001
  • Aaron Slocum - football, 1998
  • Chris Spurlin - cross country/track and field, 1990
  • Michael Swift - wrestling/football, 1988
  • 2012 wrestling team

McDowell male and female athletes of the year from the 2023-24 school year will also be recognized. They are Cooper Cousins (football) and Claire Gebhardt (water polo/swimming). Kevin O’Connor (boys’ basketball) is the coach of the year.

They will be inducted at the 15th Annual Night of the Trojan on Saturday, Sept. 28, at Colony Banquet Hall during McDowell’s homecoming weekend. Festivities will start at 1 p.m.
