Pennsylvania voters now have a new option this election season called On-Demand Voting. This option is designed for those who prefer not to mail their ballot or are unable to make it to the polls on Election Day.

In Warren County, voters can visit the courthouse and fill out an absentee or mail-in ballot application directly in the Elections Office, with assistance from the Director of Elections. Once the application is completed, voters will receive their ballot immediately over the counter. They can choose to fill it out on-site or take it home; however, all ballots must be returned to the Elections Office by Election Day.

Ken Klakamp, Warren County Commissioner and member of the Board of Elections, stated, “This is a new way for people to vote in Pennsylvania without going to the polls. On-Demand Voting allows a person to come into the courthouse and the Elections Office, fill out applications, and get their ballot right there.”

Representatives from the Warren County Board of Elections have emphasized that postmarked ballots received after Election Day will not count, and there are no drop boxes available at the Warren County Courthouse.

"We don't have a drop box here in Warren County like some other places do, so it's important to note that this has to be done in person, during office hours," added Klakamp. "But we are here to help."

On-Demand Voting in Warren County begins Monday, October 7th, and will continue until October 29th. The Warren County Elections Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
