A motorcyclist is dead following a crash in Millcreek Township on Sunday.

It was reported just before 2:15 p.m. on W. 12th St. near Harper Dr.

The Yamaha motorcycle was heading east when it collided with a Mitsubishi SUV which was also heading east after making a right turn from Harper Dr., according to police.

The motorcyclist - Cody Price, 34, of Lake City - was rushed to UPMC Hamot Trauma Center in cardiac arrest. The coroner said he suffered head and blunt force trauma and died from his injuries.

The driver of the SUV - a 49-year-old man from Greene Township - was not injured, according to investigators. He was working at the time as a ride share driver, police said.
