Police have arrested a woman who reportedly chased after a U.S. Postal Service worker with a knife in Millcreek Township on Tuesday, according to a news release.

Nassiba Mirzaeva, 27, faces charges including aggravated assault, terroristic threats and simple assault.

Officers were called to the 500 block of Montepelier Ave. around 12:19 p.m. for the incident.

The mailman told police he was confronted by Mirzaeva who held a opened folding knife above her head and yelled at him.

The postal worker ran away, and Mirzaeva chased after him for some distance, investigators said. He saw the open door of a home and ran inside for safety, according to police.

Officers said they found Mirzaeva in the area and arrested her. They also located the knife.
