The Warren County Children’s Advocacy Center (WCCAC) received an unexpected gift this week, courtesy of Warren County Fright Nights.

Warren County Fright Nights, a local non-profit organization who specialize in creating themed events to benefit local charities and nonprofits, delivered several boxes and totes filled with toys, clothes, and supplies for children served by the CAC.

The donations were collected through fundraising efforts, including their Christmas in July event.

“This was so unexpected and so much more than we could have ever hoped for," stated Katelyn Hecei, Family Advocate at the Warren County Children’s Advocacy Center. "We are incredibly grateful for everything that we received. I have a feeling that a lot of kids are going to be very happy thanks to Warren County Fright Nights."

Fright Nights organizers expressed their commitment to giving back. “We put events on all year to support organizations that help out in the community," explained Stephanie Flowers, Event Coordinator for Warren County Fright Nights. "I have worked with abused and handicapped people and children for a long time and know the struggle. I have seen it and it really means a lot for us to be able to help them."

The Warren County Fright Nights team has already started planning for next year and aims to continue supporting local nonprofits through their events.
