Pennsylvania State Police plan to crack down on driving under the influence (DUI) with a checkpoint in Crawford and Warren Counties over the Thanksgiving holiday week, according to news releases.

An exact location was not disclosed, but the checkpoint in Crawford County will be conducted sometime over the weekend of Nov. 27 and Dec. 1. The checkpoint in Warren County will run sometime over the weekend of Nov. 29 and Dec. 1.

Troopers are reminding anyone who plans to drink alcohol to designate a sober driver. They also caution both illegal and legal drugs including prescriptions can make it unsafe to drive a vehicle.
