Ways to Save on Thanksgiving Shopping
Many people may have done their Thanksgiving shopping over the weekend or they will make plans to do it over the next few days.
While preparing a big meal takes lots of time and energy, it can also cost a lot too.
When planning to buy for the big feast, officials at Giant Eagle advise to buy things in installments to cut costs. For example, purchasing canned goods or things that can be stored early and buying fresh items like produce or baked goods closer to the holiday.
Staff at Giant Eagle said around this time of year frozen turkeys are their top sellers.
They also added whether you are making the big meal for the first time this year or are a pro, take advantage of employees by asking questions to help make your cooking experience easier.
Jannah Drexler, the Spokesperson for Giant Eagle said, "Thanksgiving is one of those classic holidays at typically has a set menu. Obviously people have variants about what they and their families enjoy and because of that we are able to anticipate a lot of those needs and what people are looking for. We might get some questions about how to prepare certain things or recipe ideas and that's obviously a time where our team members at Giant Eagle engage with customers and share their expertise."
