City of Erie Police are towing vehicles that are blocking roadways, so snow plows and emergency vehicles can get through, the department posted on Facebook.

Anyone whose vehicle is towed can call the police department's non-emergency number at 814-870-1125 to confirm it has been towed.

If your vehicle is towed, you will need to come to the police department at Erie City Hall, using the W. 7th & Peach St. entrance, with photo ID to verify ownership and take care of the release paperwork.

The owners will be directed to the appropriate impound facility to retrieve the vehicle.
