Harborcreek High School Graduate Served in U.S. Military for 8 Years: Remembering Our Veterans
Every Thursday night on Erie News Now we honor local veterans and their families in a long-running series entitled, Remembering Our Veterans.
This week, the focus is on a graduate of Harborcreek High School, Jeremy Sidun, who spent eight years in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Jeremy Sidun’s tour of duty started in Parris Island, South Carolina, not long after receiving his high school diploma. And two of his sons followed in his military footsteps.
And the big screen also played a big role in his decision to join.
He’s also the president of the Erie County Chapter of Law Enforcers Motorcycle Club. And once the weather clears, he will honor fallen officers, recognized by placing a wreath at their gravestone.
His goal for his nonprofit on Saturday is to make 25 stops throughout Erie County.
