While the heavy snow is impacting area businesses, it's also causing trouble for house boats on the peninsula.

One double decker home is now partially underwater in Presque Isle State Park's Horseshoe Pond. 

Erie news now has reached out to the state park, and were told they have contacted owners of the houseboats to make them aware.

Lakeshore Towing told us that they have been in contact with the owner of the house that sunk, and they working on a plan to remove the it from the water.
