Brennan Perrycannan, who joined the U.S. Marine Corps right out of high school, is the subject of tonight's Remembering Our Veterans story.

Every Thursday night on Erie News Now at 6 and 11, we honor local veterans and their families in a long-running series entitled.

Brennan graduated from McDowell High School in 2014. Joining the Marine Corps was a mission he had in mind for years.

His dream to serve his country started in grade school.

Brennan served from 2014 to 2018. And when his tour of duty ended, it was off to Mercyhurst University, where he earned his degree in Intelligence Studies.

The respect for Marines who came before him is off the charts.

His mom sent in his nomination, and we thank her for sharing Brennan’s story.
