Children got some Christmas gifts early this year and a visit from Santa Claus thanks to the Millcreek Fire Department.


The inaugural Santa's Gift Run took place all over Millcreek on Saturday morning.

It began at the Kearsarge Fire Department and from there, Santa and his helpers made 22 stops and delivered gifts to 40 children.

Children and their families loving meeting Santa and seeing the fire trucks make their way through the neighborhoods.

This was the first year for the event and organizers were pleased with the response they got.

People could also make donations of non-perishable food items to Second Harvest Food Bank as Santa was making his way through the neighborhoods.
