The North East Police Department caught and arrested a holiday suspect trying steal the area's Christmas Spirit. 

In a post to Facebook the department said they have captured the Grinch! The police department shared he thought he could get away with causing mischief in the area but he was wrong.

The video shows the Grinch messing with the borough, taking gifts and messing with decorations, before police eventually catch up to him.

The department saved Christmas and the Grinch won't be stealing any local gifts this year. You can watch the full video below.
