Trial Chief Deputy Attorney Jeremy Lightner Announces Candidacy for Erie County Common Pleas Judge

Trial Chief Deputy District Attorney for Erie County, Jeremy Lightner, will officially announce his candidacy for Erie County Common Pleas Judge on Tuesday, January 21 at the Polish Falcons Club.
The event will take place from 5-6 p.m.
Lightner is a veteran prosecutor with a deep commitment to justice and fairness. During the event, he will outline his vision for a court that serves the community with integrity, transparency, and impartiality.
Lightner will be introduced by retired Judge Shad Connelly, who plans to share insights into Lightner’s
qualifications, character, and readiness to serve as a fair and effective Common Pleas Judge.
He has a record of putting away over thirty murders, and has earned a reputation for his dedication to the rule of law.
“This is a pivotal time for Erie County,” Lightner said. “Our judiciary must reflect the highest standards of justice and impartiality. I am running for Common Pleas Judge to ensure that every case, every individual, and every voice is treated with fairness and respect.”
