Gas prices are seven cents higher in Western Pennsylvania this week at $3.512 per gallon, according to AAA East Central's Gas Price Report.

According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of gas has remained stable at $3.12 over the past week due to easing oil costs and lower domestic gasoline demand. 

Today's national average is nine cents more than a month ago and two cents more than a year ago.
