Erie County Sheriff Chris Campanelli is running for a second term.

He announced his re-election bid Thursday at the Erie County Courthouse, highlighting his focus on public safety, transparency, and community engagement.

Campanelli said he’s proud of his leadership in strengthening law enforcement, improving efficiency, and building trust with residents.

"I am honored to serve the people of Erie County and am eager to continue building on our progress," said Campanelli. "With the continued trust of this community, I will work tirelessly to uphold the values of safety, integrity, and accountability that our citizens deserve."
