A crash on Interstate 90 in western Erie County slowed traffic Friday.

It was reported in the westbound lanes at the Beckman Rd. bridge, which is located between the Route 98 exit for Fairview and Route 18 exit for Girard, just before 11 a.m.

A semi truck crashed into the bridge. We're told this isn't the first time the bridge has been hit, and the clearance is less than other bridges. 

A second crash was also reported at the scene.

Traffic was reduced to a single lane while emergency crews responded and worked to clear the scene.
