PennDOT has restored the speed limits on parts of Interstates 79, 80, and 376 in northwestern Pennsylvania.

The following interstates were impacted:

  • Interstate 79 from Exit 54 (Route 50, Bridgeville) in Allegheny County to Exit 147A (Route 6/322, Meadville) in Crawford County
  • Interstate 80 from the Ohio state line to Exit 45 (Route 478, St. Petersburg/Emlenton)
  • Interstate 376 from the I-80 interchange to Exit 13A (Route 224, Poland)

Tier 1 vehicle restrictions remain in place on Interstate 80 from the Interstate 79 interchange to Exit 173 (Route 64, Lamar). Certain vehicles—like unloaded trucks, trailers, and motorcycles—will not be allowed on those roads.

PennDOT c rews are working to treat the roads, but they warn that highways may still be icy or snow-covered.
