Firefighters were sent back to the Parker Lord plant in Saegertown early Tuesday.

Crews were called out for a reported structure fire around 4:30 a.m. and spent about three hours at the scene.

Sources said the call was to a different building than the one where an explosion and fire caused extensive damage just more than a week ago.

Firefighters from Saegertown were assisted by four neighboring companies and Meadville Ambulance.

Chuck Lawrence from Saegertown Borough Emergency Management said insulation likely smoldered from the original fire and explosion but was trapped under a rubber roof. He believes air likely got in this morning, causing the flames.

Parker Lord is currently investigating the fire and explosion while working to get the plant back online.
