Property tax bills for 2025 are on their way to City of Erie residents, treasuer Casimir Kwitowski said Friday.

There are four ways to pay:

  • In person at the Treasurer’s Office at City Hall
  • Using the drop box outside City Hall
  • Online at cityof.erie.pa.us (online payments include a convenience fee)
  • By mail

Here's a look at the deadlines:

  • Pay by March 31 for a 2% discount on city taxes and stormwater fees
  • Pay by May 31 to avoid penalties
  • For county taxes, the 2% discount deadline is April 30, with penalties starting July 1

Due to the delay in the county tax bills, the city discount deadline may be extended.

Anyone who has not received their tax bills by March 14 or who has any questions can call the treasurer's office at 814-870-1120.
