Erie Philharmonic Releases Schedule for 2025-26 Season

The Erie Philharmonic has released the schedule for the 2025-26 season.
The orchestra's season will begin on September 27 at the historic Warner Theatre. The season will begin with music from John Williams and will conclude on May 9, 2026 with Britten's Ware Requiem.
The 2025-26 season will feature: the Music of Billy Joel Starring Michael Cavanaugh, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Art Live in Concert, Copland's Rodeo, and the New World Symphony.
Additionally, Ashley Brown, Broadway's Mary Poppins, will return to Erie in 2026 to perform her favorite Broadway and Disney classics. Brown will return on April 25 and 26.
“I'm thrilled to be announcing the 25-26 season for the Erie Philharmonic,” said Daniel Meyer, Music Director
of the Erie Philharmonic. “With audience favorites like Ashley Brown and Blaine Krauss returning to the Pops,
and brand-new stars like Michael Cavanaugh singing the music of Billy Joel, I think we have five winning
concerts spread over the season. For our symphonic fans, it's hard to imagine a more dramatic lineup,
including Mahler's epic 6th Symphony, Britten's searing and deeply emotional War Requiem, and Dvorák's
New World Symphony. We will collaborate with star pianist Orli Shaham for the very first time as she
performs Mozart, as well as rising star violinist Alexi Kenney, who will be bringing his unique flair and
musicality to Barber's lyrical Violin Concerto.”
The season was carefully curated by Meyer himself.
The Pops Matinee Series will also continue this season. All scheduled Pops concert performances will have two concerts: one on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and one the following Sunday at 3 p.m.
For current subscribers, renewal packets will be available during the Saturday, March 15 concert at the Warner Theatre. Renewal packets will be emailed to all current subscribers next week.
Subscriptions will go on sale for the general public beginning on Monday, March 17. Single ticket sales will begin on July 28.
