The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) is alerting anglers and boaters that portions of Walnut Creek Marina will be closed for maintenance beginning this week.

The motorboat launch will be closed beginning Tuesday, March 18 through Wednesday, April 30.

The boat launch is being closed so that dredging can be performed within the marina basin.

Additionally, the Walnut Creek Beach area will be closed for maintenance until approximately May 2, 2025.

According to the PFBC, the rest of the access area will remain open during this time.

Boaters using canoes, kayaks, and smaller boats may use the small boat launch which is located directly south of the marina basin. The PFBC is reminding boaters that the launch is shallow and does not provide access for larger boats.

The marina office and public restrooms will be open beginning April 10 (Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
