Residents of Asbury Manor in Meadville have raised serious concerns about the deteriorating conditions of their community, showing crumbling roads, homes without doors, metal stakes protruding from the ground, and water continually running from a broken pipe. These are just a few of the daily challenges they have endured since Regal Community's new property owner took over last April.

In addition to the maintenance issues, residents have also faced ongoing payment problems, with many unfairly charged late fees due to technical issues with the rent portal. Robert Longstreth shared, "A month later they got us a rent portal that did not work, adding late fees."

During a recent tour of the community, residents were joined by Meadville Mayor Jamie Kinder, who expressed her strong support for the residents. “It’s our job to fight for people's rights to live a dignified life. We cannot stand by and let people be treated in a way that is harmful,” Mayor Kinder emphasized.

We have reached out to the Regal Community office for comment but have yet to receive a response.
