The Sarah Reed Children's Center spent the morning celebrating their own women making a difference.

The center held a leadership breakfast at the Bayfront Sheraton.

The event featured keynote speaker Katie Bool Shafer, who inspired attendees with her talk on women's leadership.

Awards were presented to longtime contributors Jane Kukla and Elaine Winner for their dedication to the center.

The Sarah Reed Children's Center was founded in 1871 by Sarah A. Reed and 29 local Erie women. The center provides mental, behavioral and trauma-informed care to children and families in the community.
