One person was taken to the hospital after getting hit by a car on Sunday morning.

The calls for a person being hit came in around 8:00 in the morning. 

The accident happened at 55th and Peach Street near the Millcreek Mall. 

Millcreek Police confirm that a twenty-year old man was hit in the right, northbound lane. 

He was taken to UPMC Hamot with serious injuries. 

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police. 

Millcreek Police are currently investigating.
