PennDOT Implements Temporary Lane Restrictions on Interstate 79 Northbound Erie County

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has implemented temporary lane restrictions on the northbound lanes of Interstate 79 in Erie County in connection with around-the-clock patching operations.
The lane restrictions will be in place from Exit 166 (Route 6N, Albion/Edinboro) to the Interstate 90 Interchange.
PennDOT says the work began on Monday, March 31 and will continue 24 hours a day until its completed.
PennDOT is urging motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and to be alert to changing conditions.
