Erie Meals on Wheels, Second Harvest Food Bank Secure Funding from Pa. Dept. of Military and Veterans Affairs’

Two Erie-based organizations will receive a total of $78,500 in funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs' Veterans' Trust Fund. The money will bolster efforts to support local veterans and their families.
Metro Erie Meals on Wheels Inc. will receive $39,500 to provide nutritious meals and groceries. The groceries will be delivered directly to veterans in need, ensuring they have access to healthy food in the comfort of their homes.
Additionally, Second Harvest Food Bank will receive $39,000 to expand its MilitaryShare food assistance program. The program offers critical food support to veterans and their families.
