Erie High Students Build Tiny Home for Community Shelter Services

Erie High construction trade students are putting their newly learned skills to help those who need it most.
Erie High School students are building a tiny home to help families in need. The Construction Trades Program is creating an 8-by-33-foot house with the support from local vendors.
On Wednesday, students met with over 30 vendors ahead of starting the project.
Welding students will create the steel frame. Once it's finished, the home will be donated to Community Shelter Services and used as temporary housing. The tiny home will include sleeping lofts, a kitchen, and a bathroom.
