Art's Bakery is celebrating 75 years of sweet tradition with a four-day birthday celebration starting Thursday.

Anniversary celebrations will take place at both the Millcreek and Harborcreek locations.

Since its founding in 1950, Art's Bakery has served the community scratch-made baked goods. After purchasing the bakery two years ago, owners Todd and Cori Sutton have worked to preserve its legacy while expanding to a second location in Harbocreek.

Taylor Warren is a manager at the Harborcreek location. She has worked there for a few years. She came to Erie for college - that's when she realized she liked baking, and she wanted to work for Art's.

"I started small on customer service and dishwashing and worked my way up to being one of the managers, and I couldn't ask for anything better," she said.

To celebrate 75 years, Art's Bakery is rolling out a series of in-store promotions and giveaways:

  • Free Cookies for a Year – One lucky winner at each location will receive a dozen cookies every week for an entire year!
  • Birthday Cake Giveaway – Enter to win a custom birthday cookie cake in honor of Art’s big birthday bash.
  • Golden Sprinkle Cupcakes – Find a cupcake filled with golden sprinkles and win a special prize!
  • Guess-How-Many Challenge – Take your best guess at how many sweet treats are in the jar for a chance to win.

Anniversary celebrations will be at both the Millcreek and Harborcreek locations.
