A group of volunteers are expected to make there way back to the area today. They've been fighting a wildfire in eastern Pennsylvania.

For the past week, nine volunteers from the Crawford-Erie County Wildland Fire Crew have been fighting the wildfire in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania.

That's about an hour north of Allentown.

They've been digging trenches to keep the fire from damaging properties. They were brought on as additional manpower for the crews that were there.

At last check, that fire is nearly fully contained.
