Saegertown High School Senior Awarded April C.L.A.S.S. Act Emerging Leader Scholarship
A 12th grade student who excels in both stem, and the arts was sitting in the front row of her AP literature class when she was awarded this month's Northwest Pa. C.L.A.S.S Act Emerging Leader Award and Scholarship.
Cora MacAdam received a $1,200 scholarship.
The piano player and senior class treasurer was nominated by her high school principal for not only her academic and extracurricular success at Saegertown High School, but her community involvement with Special Olympics, her church, and constant efforts to help others.
Cora currently works at a local care facility currently, and aspires to a career, working with the elderly.
Erie News Now would like to congratulate all the nominees for this month's Northwest Pa. C.L.A.S.S Act Emerging Leader Award.
