The Erie Zoo's next Centennial Saturday celebration is a Party for the Planet. The event celebrates Earth Day, World Oceans Day, and Endangered Species Day.

The annual event will be held on Saturday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Attendees will get to a free carousel ride, courtesy of event sponsors. Additionally, the first 100 guests will receive a Centennial Saturday Surprise.

“Party for the Planet goes beyond a single day—it’s about empowering our community to participate in a greener, healthier planet,” said Erie Zoo CEO Roo Kojancie. “In our centennial year, we’re proud to spotlight the important conservation work happening in Erie and inspire the next generation to get involved.”

Guests will also have the opportunity to interact with local conservation organizations. Each organization will offer an interactive display and activities focused on protecting the natural world.

All activities are included in regular zoo admission. More information on the Party for the Planet can be found here
