Millcreek Township Kicks Off Spring Clean 2025 Initiative

Millcreek Township has launched a new season initiative, Spring Clean 2025, designed to help residents dispose of household waste, leaves, and hazardous materials responsibly.
Leaf Collection will be held May 5-9. Interested residents can place bagged leaves at the curb on their regularly scheduled trash collection day.
Leaves must be placed in clear or transparent bags*. Residents can purchase bags through the Township or at most retail stores.
A separate Waste Management truck will collect leaves.
Then, on Saturday, May 17, the township is hosting a Special Collection at Millfair.
The free paper shredding and tire drop-off event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday. Attendees can also bring appliances (with and without freon), scrap metal, construction and demolition waste, and more.
Additionally, the township also offers Bulky Item Pickup. Residents can schedule a pickup by completing the Bulk Trash Request form.

*NOTE: Leaves will be composted for organic yard waste. Bags containing sticks, grass clippings, or other debris will not be accepted.
